What are your most memorable acheivements?

A very meaningful achievement for me was riding Beaumont Birdie (my first horse) at the age of ten. I was given the ride from mum (Abby) who broke her in and started her. I started off by jumping 80cm and then producing her through the heights to junior rider, then young rider, and then horse Mini Prix. We received several wins and placings including 3rd in the Junior Rider at Nationals in 2020, and this year we were 1st in the Horse Mini Prix at Canterbury Labour Weekend. Recently we both did our first Horse Grand Prix which is pretty special as Birdie is a home bred mare!

Your best tip for your discipline(s)?

Don't rush up the heights. Spend time at the lower heights working on your technique.

Who inspires you?

My Mum! She competed up to Horse Mini Prix and is a huge inspiration and help. I am also inspired by my coach, Tegan Fitzsimon.

Who else do you work with?

I am an ambassador for The Groom's Collection, which is a range of natural skincare and grooming products for riders, grooms and horses. We have also been part of the On Top Equestrian Team for 2 years now and absolutely love our prestige gear that is made and then fitted to all our horses by Seija!

Best feeding tip?

Keep your horses in a good feeding routine and balance their high-fibre diet!

Favourite product and why?

Our horses at Beaumont Station Sport Horses love Fiber Protect, from the brood mares to the young horses, and competition horses. This is my favourite product as gut health is important to ensure top performance and this product helps prevent and heal ulcers. We have seen a huge difference in our horses' top line and condition since feeding Fiber Protect.

Your advice for someone thinking about switching to Fiber Fresh?

Transition slowly when introducing new feeds. Make sure you're feeding enough!
